Just got an unsolicited text from. 80160
For the last 2 years I have been texting stop every time I am charged via this number. I receive a reply to confirm cancellation but they still charge again the following week. I have rung the helpline on the text 08709740563 many times and have been assured I have been removed but still get billed with a new text! Sometimes the day after calling! How do I stop the £1.50 weekly charges?
I`ve just found your link after searching to try and stop these texts.
I replied with Out as was stated on the text, it also gave a landline number which was `dead`.
I have spoken to my phone provdier - Orange who have advised sending STOP ALL, I have recieved a mtext saying my number will be removed within an hour...we will see.
So far they have charged me for £7.50 for something I didn`t know I`d done.
I`m waiting now to see if I get anymore.
but il like to try
I don't have enough credit to pay the 80160 message but if i do top up will they charge me from the months i didnt pay aswell? and does the STOP work?
Message received which reads *Free Msg to confim your wish to proceed with Ringaling @ 3 x £1.50 per week. reply WEB now. Help? 08000988451" received at 11.25 on Sunday night. I tried sending STOP text to both the short dial and long no but messages failed. Would welcome any help/advice.
Just got the same message as Janet Gunn, not tried sending to either number as I'm rather not let them know the number is live
Got the same sms.
going to ring my service provider to see if they can help.
did nothing and hope that works
I've also received various messages at a cost of £1.25 per message but don't know how to stop them. I've called the 0870 number but there is no reply from it and times out in the end after 1 min. My bill is increasing every month.
Sent a stop message which did not go through but did charge me £1.50 and I still get message saying I Have insufficient funds which could not deliver the message. So why still charge
I Hope sending stop message will RMF The whole story
I'm with O2 and I received: "Free Msg to confim your wish to proceed with Ringaling @ 3 x £1.50 per week. reply WEB now. Help? 08000988451"
The same as others, randomly today, and I immediately replied "STOP ALL" to the number 80160, and I received a text back saying: "Free message your number has been stopped and removed"
I hope it works—I just checked my online O2 billing, and it seems I haven't been charged yet, although I'll wait and see as the online billing may take a day or so to update itself.
Fucking little bastards, who are these dicks and how did they get my number and then have the audacity to text me stating I will be charged.
no as I do not have credit I only have my free allowance which is due to be toped up today, but the minute I top-up this will start taking my credit out my phone.
sick to death of this
Getting fed up with these texts now, when will the service providers block them
Have received a text from Ringaling saying "Free Msg to confim your wish to proceed with Ringaling @ £4.50 per week reply WEB now. Help? 08000988451"
I have replied STOP ALL but have not received any reply so don't know whether this stops or not? I can't pay that money & i'm on a monthly contract
Need info pls as stop has not worked.
Worried it was premium rate so didn't. I don't want to be charged weekly. What do I do? Thx
Texted STOP ALL and recieved 'Free Msg: Thank You. You have now left Ringaling.tv'
